Job Responsibilities May Include:

• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, dietary restrictions and portion guidelines
• Ensure food is cooked, stored, and served safely, following all health and sanitation standards
• Assist in menu planning and accommodate resident preferences and special diets
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff to ensure time meal service
• Follow all facility, state, and federal guidelines regarding food preparation

Qualifications:

• Prior kitchen experience
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required
• Experience in large batch cooking
• Strong customer service skills
