This role is intended for casual and/or seasonal family members.

• Tax Preparation
  :
  Prepare 1040 forms for individual income tax returns and file tax returns electronically or by mail. Maintain accurate records of tax returns and related documents. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Consultation
  :
  Calculate tax liabilities and refunds based on provided information. Identify and apply deductions, credits, or exemptions applicable to the taxpayer. May perform detailed reviews, research, and compliance work with emphasis on calculations, accounting theory, and tax law. Maintain technical tax skills through continuing education and internal training. Perform tax research where appropriate.
• Administrative
  :
  Collect and organize tax-related documents (income statements, receipts, investment records) and enter data into tax preparation software.
• Client Management
  :
  Communicate with clients to answer questions and provide guidance on tax-related matters. Record billable time in the billing system to ensure timely client invoicing.

• 1 year of relevant experience in tax return preparation preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associates degree preferred
