Join our team as a Senior Project Manager at APX Construction Group
, a leading construction firm dedicated to excellence and community impact.
We are looking for a seasoned project manager to lead and manage complex commercial construction projects, ensuring on‑time delivery within budget while upholding our safety, quality, and integrity standards. The role is primarily office‑based with field visits as necessary within a 120‑mile radius of Minneapolis/Mankato, Minnesota. Monday through Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (occasional travel as required).
Key Responsibilities- Lead the project team from startup to closeout, including pre‑construction design, budgeting, permitting, coordination of subcontractors, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, making necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, subcontractors, and APX project teams, ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
- Document meeting minutes, distribute RFI’s, and maintain construction drawings and specifications.
- Perform quality inspections, city inspection record management, and conduct site checks to monitor progress and standards.
- Manage financial aspects, including quantity take‑offs, margin plans, change order management, subcontractor payment applications, and owner payment applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, business, or related field.
- Minimum of eight years of project management experience, including three years in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, practices, and tools.
- Proficiency in project management software (Pro Core, Bluebeam) and operating systems.
- Certified OSHA 10 or 30 is preferred.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $150,000, depending on experience.
