Overview:
The Mankato and St. James Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) are seeking a Family Practice or Internal Medicine trained primary care provider with administrative and supervisory experience to serve as Medical Lead in this VA clinic.

Base pay: $ – $ per year.

• United States citizenship.
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from an approved VA school.
• Full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Completed accredited residency (ACGME, AOA or other) leading to board certification.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal/Family Medicine preferred.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Experience in outpatient care with chronic disease management (CHF, COPD, DM, mental health, MOVE program).
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience.
• Physical ability to perform required duties; pre‑employment evaluation required.

• Provide primary care to veterans in the clinic.
• Manage scheduled and unscheduled patient panels.
• Lead administrative and supervisory functions of the clinic.
• Participate in chronic disease initiatives and mental health collaboration.
• Other duties as assigned during the interview process.
