Mankato Area Public Schools has Para educator Substitute positions available for the 2025-26 school year. These positions are on-call for 6.25 to 6.75 hours per day on an as needed basis.
Summary of duties:
Duties may include assisting teachers in the classroom, working with students under a teacher’s supervision;
Perform a variety of clerical and supportive duties related to classroom activities;
Physical, behavioral and developmental/academic support.
Qualifications preferred, but not required, candidates meet one of the following criteria for this position:
- A high school diploma/GED
- 60 semester credits (or two years full-time at an institute of higher education)

Rate of Pay:
General Education & Non-classroom B21 – $16.25 per hour
Special Education B22 – $17.50 per hour
Health & Wellness B22.5 – $20.20 per hour
