Engineering Manager

Position Summary

Lead the product development and life‑cycle management process for the Condux product portfolio, driving profitability and innovation. Manage a team of engineers through the full product development lifecycle with a focus on Continuous Improvement.

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the design and development of innovative products.
• Drive New Product Development (NPD) initiatives from concept through production, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
• Oversee design reviews, risk assessments, and validation activities to ensure robust and manufacturable solutions.
• Implement and maintain ISO‑compliant engineering processes and documentation.
• Champion Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to optimize product cost, quality, and performance.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement across engineering practices and product lines.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, and field‑service teams to ensure seamless product launches and support.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet business objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years’ experience in leading teams or in a management role.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross‑functional teams and delivering complex engineering projects.
• Hands‑on experience with New Product Development and ISO quality systems.
• Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturability and Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
• Self‑starter with a high degree of initiative, independence, and motivation.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and operational excellence.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (Creo preferred).
• Knowledge of drafting standards and mathematics.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a design drafter or a similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
