Electrical Engineering Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in the design and development of innovative consumer electronic products. This role combines hands-on engineering expertise with strategic leadership, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate brings both technical depth in electrical/electronic systems and proven ability to guide teams through the full product development lifecycle.

• Provide leadership and direction in the design, development, and integration of electrical/electronic systems for new consumer products.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with company goals for cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Contribute directly to design and development activities, including schematics, PCB layout, prototyping, and testing.
• Drive innovation by identifying and integrating emerging technologies into new and existing product platforms.
• Review and evaluate designs for compliance with standards, best practices, and product requirements; provide constructive feedback to improve quality and efficiency.
• Establish and maintain design methodologies, processes, and documentation standards to support scalability and consistency across projects.
• Partner with cross-functional teams—including mechanical, software, product management, and operations—to ensure seamless integration and successful product launches.
• Mentor, coach, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Manage resources, budgets, and project schedules to ensure optimal allocation and execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive experience in electrical/electronic product development, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong background in consumer electronics, embedded systems, or related industries.
• Hands-on expertise in circuit design, PCB layout, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading projects from concept through launch, including resource planning and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to balance technical depth and strategic leadership.
