Cleaner 7pm-11pm (M-W-F) –
Baseline Fitness

Status: Part Time / Non‑Supervisor / Non‑Exempt

Shift: 7pm-11pm, Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the assigned areas of the club.

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize locker rooms and gym floor.
• Stock locker rooms with proper paper products.
• Report broken amenities or equipment such as toilets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc. to Club Manager, Manager in Training, or Team Lead.
• Turn lost member property into the appropriate manager following the Baseline Fitness lost and found policy immediately.
• Communicate and interact with customers (colleagues and the public) in a way that exceeds the customer’s wants and needs.
• Listen actively to customers, empathize, and work together to solve problems.
• Recognize and define problems, analyze relevant information, encourage alternative solutions, and plan to resolve situations, seeking additional assistance when needed.
• Demonstrate diplomacy by using appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.

• Customer service: communicate and interact with customers (colleagues and the public) to exceed the customer’s wants and needs.
• Listening: actively listen to customers and empathize.
• Problem solving: recognize and define problems, analyze information, encourage alternative solutions, plan to resolve situations, seek assistance when needed.
• Diplomacy: demonstrate tact and skill in all interactions using appropriate behavior and language.

• Honesty and good work ethic.

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift.
• Reach and use hands/fingers/arms at least 75% of the shift.
• Climb, balance, kneel, and crouch less than 20% of the shift.
• Talk with members/staff less than 30% of the shift.
• Lift over 100 lbs less than 20% of the shift.
• May encounter toxic chemicals less than 30% of the shift.

$12.50 per hour.
