Salon Coordinator – Sport Clips Haircuts

Sport Clips is looking for Cosmetology and Barber Students passionate about Men's Hair to join our Student Internship Program
. We offer a part‑time, flexible schedule, allowing students in Cosmetology or Barbering school to LEARN and EARN while still in school.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Student Intern to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our salon.

• Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive experience from the moment they walk in.
• Answer phone calls and address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area, including retail displays.
• Handle financial transactions, including cash and credit card payments.
• Assist in retail sales by providing product knowledge and recommendations.
• Monitor and maintain salon inventory, placing orders for supplies when needed.
• Collaborate with the salon team to ensure smooth flow of operations from reception to cutting floor.
• Complete secondary responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager, such as vacuuming, cleaning stations, prepping stations, laundry, sanitation, and stocking.
• Assist in marketing efforts, including local neighborhood marketing, social media updates, and promotions.
• Participate in Sport Clips training – we prep you to feel confident behind the chair by the time you graduate.

• Previous experience in customer service, receptionist, front desk, or salon coordination preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Proficiency with computer applications, Microsoft Office, and basic social media platforms.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for the beauty industry.
