Produce high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practice proper safety guidelines for yourself, support personnel and patients. Foster teamwork through effective communication. Ensure a high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.
Maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care. May be asked to perform collection and analysis on biological specimens, e.g. blood and urine to aid in diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program.
Additional QualificationsOrganized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
Radiologic Technologist Experience PreferredExperience preferred but not required.
Licenses or Certifications- ARRT certified in Radiography. Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership.
- Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure).
- BLS certified.

Hours/Pay Period60
Schedule Details60 hours per pay period with opportunity for additional hours. 6X 10-hour shifts consisting of mostly day shifts, some evenings, occasional overnight for vacations or unexpected absences, rotating holidays. Position covers all general radiology; outpatients, inpatients, ED, OR and Fluoro.
Weekend ScheduleWorking 1-2 weekends out of each 6-week schedule period.
