Responsibilities

• 8, .9, and 1.0 FTE available.
• Provide services to adolescents and adults.
• Produce high quality images for Radiology and the operating room that meet Mayo Clinic standards.
• Operate a variety of equipment and technology competently.
• Practice safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and self.
• Foster teamwork through effective communication.
• Maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
• Work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager, including days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.

#IRT Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry-eligible with certification obtained before employment start date.
• Experience with in a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T.(R) (ARRT); ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology within 18 months of start date.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.

Schedule Details

• Multiple FTE available: .8, .9, 1.0.
• 8-hour shifts, primarily 7:30 - 4:00 pm.
• Call or late shift 8:30 - 5:00 pm.
• Weeknight call rotation.

Weekend Schedule

Rotating on-call responsibilities. Call weekend rotation, every 6-7th weekend.
