The Minnesota Mayo Clinic Health System Division of Psychiatry and Psychology seeks supplemental NPs or PAs to cover vacations, CME, and leave of absences for our inpatient NP/PA psychiatry team. The team runs a 7 on / 7 off schedule. Inpatient units are located in Albert Lea, MN and Mankato, MN, and coverage may be performed virtually, in person, or in a hybrid fashion.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strengths in both pharmacological and non-pharmacological management of psychiatric conditions and possess strong patient interviewing and history‑taking skills for effective care coordination.

• Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree from an accredited nursing school and NP program. Current Minnesota RN and APRN license and certification as FNP or ANP. Doctorate preferred. PMHNP‑BC strongly preferred.
• Physician Assistant: Graduated from an accredited PA program with current PA certification by NCCPA and licensure by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. CAQ in psychiatry strongly preferred.
• Eligibility for DEA registration and billing privileges.
• BLS certification required.
• Additional Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider with at least 1 year inpatient behavioral health direct patient care.

Hours/Pay Period: Supplemental.

Hourly Rate: $58.18 – $81.19.

Benefits: Not applicable.

Weekend: As needed.
