Corporate Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist; Mankato

Join Monarch Healthcare Management as a Corporate Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist (Mankato).

Responsible for managing accounts receivable for specific assisted living facilities, involving interaction with residents' families and facility staff.

• Maintain accurate monthly census, post cash receipts, process billing (including Medical Assistance), and handle collections, refunds, insurance claims, and reporting.
• Prepare aged trial balances, balance accounts receivable monthly, compile audit documentation, and process Certificates of Rent Paid (CRPs) by year-end.
• Market apartment units, manage tenant relations, rent collection, delinquent accounts, lease compliance, and coordinate repairs.
• Provide courteous customer service, uphold professional standards, and maintain confidentiality.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and support office tasks as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing education, attend meetings, and stay current on policies to promote quality and resident rights.

• Proficient in basic bookkeeping and computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Qualify for employment after criminal background check per Minnesota Department of Human Services guidelines.
