GCP​/MDM Engineer

The Software Engineer Principal – GCP/MDM Engineer is responsible for designing resilient and scalable technology solutions, maintaining existing systems, and driving innovation across cloud-based data platforms. This role provides thought leadership in software architecture, Agile and Dev Ops practices, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness and compliance. The engineer will work extensively with Google Cloud technologies and data engineering tools to support enterprise-level initiatives.

• Design technology solutions to meet resiliency, stability, and operational readiness requirements
• Develop, maintain, and support existing systems and platforms
• Champion software engineering best practices, Agile methodologies, and Dev Ops principles
• Lead and mentor team members, contribute to staffing plans and performance reviews
• Own technology solutions including proactive monitoring, alerting, and roadmap communication
• Partner with Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security teams to evolve systems architecture
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PCI)
• Participate in technical support and project work outside core business hours as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience);
  High School Diploma or GED required
• 8+ years of experience in application development or software implementation
• Proven experience with Agile/Product Delivery models
• Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills
• Excellent written, technical, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to mentor, lead, and collaborate across teams
• Experience with regulatory compliance in healthcare or PBM environments

• Experience in PBM or healthcare industry
• Understanding of security implications in cloud and data domains
