Operational Program Director / 245D Designated Manager *

Salary: $65,000.00 - $66,787.50 annually (based on experience)
Sign‑on bonus: $5,000.00 retention bonus (not available to existing Dungarvin employees)

As the Operational Program Director (OPD), you will provide leadership and coordination for programs serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, medical needs, and/or autism spectrum disorders in Washington/Ramsey County. The role combines direct care and supervisory duties, and the OPD must maintain a flexible schedule, be on‑call at all times, and ensure that all direct service shifts are staffed by qualified personnel.
Responsibilities- Supervise and support staff across all programs.
- Coordinate placement decisions and ensure compliance with Dungarvin employment conditions.
- Participate in direct service shifts (up to 16 hours per week, no more); if exceeding, notify supervisor in advance.
- Maintain on‑call availability unless a comparable authority is assigned.
- Ensure program operations meet state and federal regulatory requirements, including 245D licensing standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field (preferred).
- Valid 245D Designated Manager status per MN licensing requirements.
- Minimum of three years supervising staff in the human service field.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable motor‑vehicle background check.
- Valid liability vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to perform personal care tasks and lift/transfers.
- Capacity to transport persons served in the community.
- Strong decision‑making, time‑management, and communication skills.
- At least 18 years of age (21 for certain programs).
