Job Overview

The Forklift Service Operator role at Crown Holdings, Inc. is located in Mankato, MN. The position starts at $24.8885 per hour with an additional 5% shift differential for night shift. The plant operates on a 4‑day on/4‑day off schedule with 12‑hour shifts that alternate between 6:00 am‑6:00 pm and 6:00 pm‑6:00 am.

• Load, unload, store and deliver coils, in‑process supplies, materials and finished product in the service production/shipping areas.
• Complete all required forms, spoilage, shipping reports and other documentation.
• Store ends, plates, pallets and other goods by specification.
• Collect, weigh and record scrap and dispose of in designated containers.
• Perform forklift inspections and report any issues to Supervisor.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safety – keep the work area clean.
• Wrap and load pallets as required.
• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of tools to complete jobs accurately and to specifications.
• Perform visual inspection of all pallets/materials, remove, replace and/or repair defective or damaged finished goods and/or materials prior to loading trucks.
• Pal‑tize and band spoilage.
• Follow standard safety precautions and adhere to operators’ instructions when using power tools; wear recommended protective equipment.
• Train to support shipping dock when necessary.
• Position dock loading plate for unloading or loading materials when necessary.
• Unload and load materials from the truck when necessary.
• Perform other job‑related duties as required or assigned.

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Must be able to drive a 30,000‑lb capacity forklift and maintain certification.
