Division Overview: Crown’s Beverage Division produces packaging for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees, teas, and energy drinks. Our innovative technologies redefine beverage can packaging, offering a large printable surface and diverse sizes and shapes to enhance brand presence. Join the Crown Beverage Division in Mankato, MN.
Position Overview: Our Mankato Plant is expanding! Starting pay is $28.34/hour with a 5% shift differential for night shifts. The Production Technician is responsible for ensuring quality and mechanical performance of production lines, recording quality data, and maintaining equipment. The schedule is a 4-day on, 4-day off, 12-hour shift (6am-6pm, 6pm-6am). Benefits include:

Job Responsibilities:
- Setup, adjust, repair, overhaul, and evaluate end line equipment to meet quality and production standards.
- Disassemble, replace, and reassemble tools and dies.
- Measure and record dimensions against specifications.
- Inspect raw materials and in-process ends to ensure quality standards.
- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance.
- Operate hoists and forklifts.
- Maintain production and quality records, identify poor-quality products.
- Report quality issues to supervisor.
- Follow safety practices and maintain good housekeeping.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include passing mechanical and written aptitude tests. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Mechanical and technical skills
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strategic thinking
Physical and Working Conditions:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, using hands, reaching.
- Occasional sitting, climbing, kneeling, talking, smelling.
- Visual requirements include close, distance, color vision, and focus adjustment.
- Work in a factory environment with loud noise, moving machinery, and confined spaces.
