Compensation: $43.84–$66.84 per hour
Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Mankato. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care while coordinating treatment plans, educating patients and families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Nurses practice within Mayo Clinic’s Relationship-Based Care model, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients.
- Provide direct patient care, patient and family education, and care transitions.
- Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Delegate patient care appropriately based on patient acuity and staff experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year of RN experience in a relevant care setting preferred, or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
- Full-Time (60 hours per pay period)
- Every third weekend and holiday rotation.
- Competitive pay: $43.84–$66.84 per hour
