Volk Transfer, a privately held corporation headquartered in Mankato, MN, is currently seeking experienced, highly motivated professionals with strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills interested in joining an established company. Volk Transfer provides a variety of services including LTL, truckload, logistics, warehouse, cartage transportation, and timely delivery of shipments throughout the US.

The Account Executive will sell our entire package of services and will bring demonstrated local and national LTL and truckload and logistics experience to our company. If you are self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision, can travel and build your own book of business, we’d like to talk to you!

Our preferred candidate must have:

• Inside or outside sales experience within the transportation industry
• strong negotiation skills and determination to close a sale
• The ability to tactfully handle conflict and resolve issues
• Proactive and excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
