East High School & Prairie Winds Middle School

Positions are available for Winter Sport Coaches with Mankato East Athletics beginning October 2025. These positions are for approximately 2 hours per day/5 days per week (after school).

• Adapted Floor Hockey
• Girls Gymnastics
• Boys/Girls Alpine Ski
• Boys/Girls Ice Hockey
• Boys/Girls Basketball
• Boys Swim & Dive
• Dance Company
• Wrestling

• Prepare successful practice and performance plans while encouraging student participation, establishing team rapport, and motivating participants to achieve maximum potential.
• Be an example of sportsmanship.
• Maintain equipment and inventory of all equipment, including uniforms.
• Supervise all areas of participation, including but not limited to gyms, fields, locker rooms, buses, pools, etc.
• Work collaboratively with other coaching staff, the Activities Director, families, and community resources.
• Maintain compliance with all rules and regulations of the MSHSL.

Must meet MSHSL and Board guidelines and successfully complete a district background check.

Previous participation and/or coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.

March 1, 2026, or until filled.

$1,823 to $4,725 depending on level, activity, and experience.
