About

the Role

As a Plant Supply Chain Engineer, you’ll play a key role in optimizing logistics systems, improving material flows, and driving lean initiatives. This position is perfect for someone passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain and improve production planning, inventory management, and EDI processes.
  • Implement lean principles to streamline upstream, internal, and downstream flows.
  • Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Material & Information Flow Analysis (MIFA).
  • Lead Logistics FMEA and workshops to enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate on new product/process introductions, ensuring optimal flow and layout solutions.
  • Prepare and monitor KPIs for customer service, inventory levels, and logistics costs.
  • Interface with engineering, ITS, and logistics teams to implement best practices.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education: Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Preferred experience in logistics or supply chain; knowledge of lean principles, TPM, and project management.
  • Skills: SAP proficiency and strong data analysis skills (Excel, Access); ability to lead workshops and influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Languages:

    English required; additional languages a plus.
  • Strong communication, decision‑making, and customer‑oriented mindset.
Physical & Work Environment
  • Onsite role in a dynamic production facility (temperature varies by season).
  • Requires manual dexterity, mobility, and safety‑first culture with mandatory PPE.
