On-Site Staffing Manager
Becker Wright Consultants is looking for an On‑Site Staffing Manager who will serve as a pivotal link between the firm and its client. The role will be based at the client’s facility in Manor, Texas.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with the client’s management team, supervisors, and employees; act as the primary point of contact for staffing needs and issues.
- Oversee and/or conduct the full cycle of recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement of temporary employees.
- Anticipate client staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Maintain a database of qualified candidates for future placements.
- Manage employee relations for temporary staff at the client site, including coaching, counseling, performance reviews, and addressing disciplinary issues.
- Facilitate early treatment and reporting of workers’ compensation incidents.
- Conduct performance evaluations for temporary staff and provide coaching as needed.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new temporary employees.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal and regulatory standards (e.g., labor laws, OSHA).
- Track and provide reports on productivity, headcount, and attendance.
On‑site Visibility and Support:
Maintain a high level of presence and visibility on the client’s production floors or work areas, interacting with management and temporary employees to build connections and understand needs.
Problem‑solving and Support:
Proactively address and resolve staffing‑related issues and concerns that may arise at the client site.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Staffing Manager or in a similar role within the staffing industry is typically required.
- Management experience is often preferred.
- Experience in high‑volume hiring environments (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, warehousing) is particularly valuable.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is usually preferred or required, although relevant experience can sometimes substitute for a degree.
