Experienced Painter

Production | Starting pay $18-$20/hr

• Steady full‑time schedule

• Prepare surfaces by scraping, using commercial paint removers, and filling cracks and holes.
• Erect scaffold, ladders and safety barriers in line with local mechanical “safe work procedures.”
• Place drop cloths to protect equipment and cover floors.
• Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards and adjust as necessary.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power equipment using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths.
• Perform interior and exterior painting, including finishing where required.
• Review shop drawings.
• Maintain shop equipment.
• Follow Falcon Structures’ policies and procedures, health and safety standards and comply with appropriate building codes.
• Take safety classes.
• Correct charges to projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• 4‑7 years of experience.
• Good craftsman, able to perform quality finish work.
• Capable of reading shop drawings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
• Safety conscious.
• Learning mindset.
• Flexible, friendly, collaborative, and able to coach others.
• Ability to use critical thinking to learn troubleshooting.

• Sight to be aware of hazards and dangers.
• Able to wear a respirator.
• Good hearing and speaking to exchange information.
• Dexterity of hands to perform tasks required of the position.
• Must be able to read and write English to review project plans.
• Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable at different heights.
• Must be able to traverse the production facility.
• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
