Cleanroom Assembly Technician
Hours & Pay- Pay Rate: $18.00‑$18.50 per hour
- Shift: 1st Shift | Monday‑Friday | 6:00 a.m.‑2:30 p.m.
- Training & Orientation:
First week, 7:00 a.m.‑4:00 p.m.
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to work instructions and blueprints
- Perform leak testing and standard functional testing to ensure product quality
- Operate hand tools and power tools to complete precision assemblies
- Read and follow assembly instructions, parts lists, and specifications
- Conduct minor troubleshooting and support basic testing activities
- Inspect assemblies throughout the process to verify quality standards are met
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership on the production floor
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance within a cleanroom manufacturing environment
- Support cross‑training initiatives and assist with additional production tasks as needed
- High school diploma or GED; technical coursework or associate degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment
- Basic mechanical assembly skills and comfort with repetitive tasks
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience with cable or harness assembly is a plus
- Familiarity with leak testing, subassembly testing, or inspection is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a quality‑focused mindset
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use standard software applications
- Math skills and willingness to cross‑train
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs independently (more with assistance)
