Objective

As a Die Setter, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth production runs by preparing, installing, and removing molds/dies on injection molding machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, and remove molds/dies on injection molding machines
• Troubleshoot machines, robots, and material feed systems (experience with Engel, Krauss Maffei, Husky machines, Kuka robots, and Piovan systems is a plus)
• Monitor machine performance to prevent downtime and maintain quality standards
• Collaborate with Process Technicians, Maintenance, and Quality teams
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely to move molds and materials
• Maintain accurate records of setups and maintenance

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED required, technical certifications preferred
• 2+ years as a Die Setter or similar role in an injection molding manufacturing environment
• Understanding of injection molding processes
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Basic computer skills and strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for entire shift, and work in varying temperatures
