Full Time Sales Team Leader - NEW STORE - Manor, TX

James Avery Artisan Jewelry is looking for an energetic and customer‑focused Sales Team Leader to assist store management, oversee staff, and drive sales for the new Manor, TX location.

Job Summary

Assists Store Management with in‑store supervision, directs personnel, provides leadership, and displays the highest level of customer service. Functions as a front‑line member of the Retail Store Leadership Team.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve guest issues effectively.
  • Keep supervisor informed of product, guest, and personnel issues.
  • Monitor and approve guest returns in accordance with retail policies.
  • Monitor associates’ guest service levels and provide constructive feedback.
  • Utilize GUESTS program for sales floor or phone interactions and for guest‑owned jewelry.
  • Prepare and review supply orders from the JAC warehouse; place orders through relevant purchasing channels.
  • Execute leadership responsibilities for store opening and closing duties.
  • Provide leadership and training to associates in all areas, for guest service and sales, coordinating regular or seasonal training; delegate assignments.
  • Assist in annual inventory process, cycle counting, adjustments, shipping, and receiving, following company procedures.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled store meetings.
  • Implement plans for company special events or promotions.
  • Develop and conduct team‑building activities.
  • Monitor product trends and communicate changes to District Manager.
  • Perform product care and visual merchandising as specified.
  • Process employee purchases and schedule approvals as needed.
  • Enforce company security and safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1‑year retail or customer‑service experience preferred; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail point‑of‑sale systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in fast‑paced environment.
  • Commitment to customer service delivery, integrity, teamwork.
  • Pass background check and drug screens per company policy.
Other Duties
  • Assume lead role in absence of other leadership team members.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to build trust.
  • Assist in any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
