Pro‑Vac is looking for a Sales and Account Manager to join our team within a defined geographic sales territory in Austin, TX. The Sales and Account Manager will provide exceptional customer experience during the sales cycle and tactfully manage client relationships.

The ideal candidate will develop a strategic growth plan for a specified geographic territory. They will demonstrate strong leadership skills, experience negotiating strategies and excellent organizational abilities. They will assist the Director of Sales in growing the Pro‑Vac brand by proactively generating new accounts through marketing, networking, cold calling, referrals, and other sales techniques.

You will be responsible for connecting Pro‑Vac’s high‑quality non‑destructive excavating and environmental services to more communities in Austin, TX and beyond. Every day you will use pre‑defined proposals to provide estimates to prospects, follow up on requests that have not closed, complete outbound calling to old customers for new projects, and leverage inbound and outbound marketing activities to work with leads.

To thrive in this role, you must have extensive knowledge of Pro‑Vac’s field operations, be familiar with hydro‑excavation services and infrastructure processes, and demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation and closing skills.

Mission of the Role

As the Sales and Account Manager, you’ll strategically expand Pro‑Vac’s services to more communities, grow market share, optimize collections, and build lasting client relationships. Using your industry insight and relationship skills, you’ll generate leads, close deals, and ensure an exceptional client experience from start to finish. You are a high‑achieving sales professional with a strong understanding of industrial and environmental services, ready to meet revenue goals and increase our market presence.

Here’s what you bring:
  • Industry Expertise:
    Experience in hydrovac, line cleaning, construction, utilities, or environmental services is required.
  • Sales & Market Growth:
    Minimum of 5+ years in building market share, with proven success in B2B sales and business development, ideally within hydro‑excavation, stormwater, or utility services.
  • Outside Sales:
    At least 3 years of experience in outside sales, specifically in hydro‑excavation services and infrastructure.
  • Performance Driven:
    Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a quota‑driven environment.
  • Communication & Negotiation:
    Exceptional skills in building trust, rapport, and negotiating effectively.
  • Strategic Insight:
    Ability to analyze data and market trends to strategically grow accounts.
  • Bidding Expertise:
    Familiarity with public and private bidding processes.
  • Collaboration

    Skills:

    Capable of working cross‑functionally to maximize client value and satisfaction.
  • Education:

    BS/BA in Sales, or a related field preferred.
