The College is seeking a Sessional A Level Geography Teacher to support the delivery of A Level Geography programmes. The successful candidate will contribute to planning, teaching and assessment in line with awarding body requirements and the College Learning Framework, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all students.

You will be expected to act as a positive role model, maintain high professional standards and embed the college values of Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Compassion and Ambition in your teaching practice.

The successful A Level Geography Teacher will have:

A degree in Geography or a closely related subject

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent)

Experience delivering A Level Geography in a school or college setting

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to prepare learners for external examinations

Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills

Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons for post-16 learners

Confidence using ICT to support learning and assessment

A commitment to safeguarding, equality and professional standards
