Senior Financial Advisor

Mansfield District Council have a great opportunity for a Senior Financial Advisor to join the team based in Mansfield. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £34,434 - £39,152 per annum (pay award pending).

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Finance Team at Mansfield District Council which is a forward thinking district within the county of Nottinghamshire and serves a population of approximately 110,000.

The role of Senior Financial Advisor is an important role within the Financial Services team. The successful candidate will provide support to in delivering core financial / management accounting services within the council. The Finance team is focused on provision of accurate insightful financial and management accounting reports to management and budget holders by cultivating strong and effective collaborative business partnering.

We are looking for a partly qualified accountant or AAT qualified with experience in the public and or private sector, a team player who would embrace the challenge of adding value to the council’s operations both in and outside of finance, with an eye for detail.
