• The Accounting Manager reports to the Corporate Controller
• Located in Mansfield, MA
• Full-Time
• Hybrid

The Accounting Manager oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations (GAAP/IFRS), and effective internal controls. This role requires extensive experience in accounting processes, coupled with a deep understanding of ERP systems and their integration into corporate finance.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor financial transactions, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile accounts.

• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures in accordance with ERP best practices and regulatory standards.
• Enhance accounting procedures and workflows to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Evaluate and implement automation where feasible
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, updating policies as necessary to mitigate risks.

• Lead the implementation of ERP systems (JD Edwards), customizing modules to align with the organization’s financial requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to configure ERP functionalities and workflows to optimize financial processes.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate ERP systems with other business processes, including procurement, supply chain, and human resources.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments to ensure seamless data flow and process alignment.
• Communicate with senior management and key stakeholders to provide updates on ERP initiatives, project milestones, and financial system performance.
• Present findings, recommendations, and strategic insights derived from ERP data analysis to support decision‑making processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with experience in ERP system implementations and financial management.
• Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in ERP software such as JD Edwards, SAP, or Oracle along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
• Proven track record of successful ERP implementations and optimizations in large‑scale organizations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ERP‑specific credentials are highly desirable.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
