This is a part-time position within a newly developing program. The role offers an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow the program from the ground up, with the expectation that it will expand into a full-time position as services and enrollment increase. The Speech Language Pathologist ensures that language services are provided on a consult basis in a progressive and thorough manner to meet the needs of the students served in the school and home programs.

Your Role in Action:
- Provide a combination of direct and indirect services to children with a variety of communication goals in their Individualized Education Plans
- Work with individuals on the Autism spectrum, including those with significant challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with the Allied Health Team (Including SLPs, SLPA,s, OT’s, and PT), educational teams, behavioral teams, family services, nursing, etc.
- Implement physical management procedures as needed, using Safety Care
- Conduct assessments, train direct service staff, and provide ongoing consultation to staff in regards to each student’s speech and language needs
- Conduct applied research
- Graduate of an approved program in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid and current license as an SLP in Massachusetts
- ASHA certified with a certificate of Clinical Competence
