We are seeking an accomplished Data Director with extensive hands‑on experience to lead and shape our data strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to provide strategic direction, lead a high‑performing team, and drive innovation in data management within the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Data Leadership- Develop and execute a comprehensive and forward‑thinking data strategy aligning with organizational objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership on long‑term data initiatives.
- Establish and enforce robust data governance policies, ensuring the highest level of security and privacy standards.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address complex regulatory requirements related to data management.
- Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated data architectures that align with complex business requirements.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure optimal data structures and system integration.
- Oversee the development and optimization of advanced data integration and ETL processes.
- Ensure seamless and efficient data flow between systems and applications, utilizing cutting‑edge tools and methodologies.
- Implement and manage advanced data quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement in data management workflows and implement strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and address performance bottlenecks in data processing, storage, and retrieval.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize system scalability and responsiveness for evolving business needs.
- Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Provide guidance and support for career development and skill enhancement.
- Collaborate effectively with C‑level executives, data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated and strategic data solutions.
- Communicate complex data management concepts and strategies to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Provide regular reports on advanced data management metrics, project status, and team performance to executive leadership.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
- Evaluate and recommend advanced data management tools and vendors to enhance team capabilities.
- Collaborate with procurement teams for tool acquisition and licensing.
