As a Dining Room Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the dining area within a senior living facility, ensuring quality service, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards. You will lead a team of wait staff, drive staff and dining room help, schedule personnel, address resident concerns, and maintain a welcoming environment for residents.

• Ensure all tablecloths are ironed and clean, napkins neatly folded, and cutlery and glasses clean.
• Maintain a clean dining area and prep it for the next meal service.
• Address resident concerns or any service problems immediately.
• Guarantee proper staffing of wait staff and that wait staff are appropriately dressed.
• Account for all residents at meals, reporting no‑shows to management.
• Ensure all room‑service meals are delivered to residents’ apartments and are picked up after meals.
• Interview, hire, and train new Dining Room staff.
• Responsible for scheduling Dining Room staff.

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines pertaining to food service operations.
• Previous dining room and server experience preferred.
• CPR certification required or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
