The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring access points, patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

• Control access to client sites or facilities, assist visitors, and screen individuals efficiently to ensure authorized entry.
• Provide courteous and professional service to employees and visitors, representing the client and security department positively.
• Communicate openly and honestly; provide authorized information about the site and surrounding area when requested.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and parking areas; prevent unauthorized entry; operate gates, remote access devices, and CCTV systems.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle; check for hazards, security violations, and unauthorized persons; inspect buildings and grounds.
• Protect evidence or incident scenes during emergencies or investigations; set up barriers and provide directions as needed.
• Prepare accurate logs and reports; maintain security control documentation.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or incidents to appropriate authorities.
• Respond to emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, hazardous materials, and severe weather according to established procedures.
• Ensure property removal complies with client policies; identify client materials among items carried by employees or visitors.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable communication and transportation.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to complete GED within six months).
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including drug test and background check.

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; occasional climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to inclement weather and potentially stressful situations.
• May require overtime and use of protective gear.
• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
