Field Crew Chief

Due to MSG's continued growth, we are seeking a Field Crew Chief to support our Survey projects in Mansfield, OH.

• Lead a one or two-person field crew
• Operate Robotic Total Stations, GPS, and data collectors
• Perform and oversee fieldwork for topographic, boundary, roadway, and ALTA surveys
• Conduct property legal research online and at county offices
• Manage data collector file uploads/downloads
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of field files and notes

Experience with the following is a plus but not required:

• Processing topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys using AutoCAD/Civil 3D or Open Roads Designer
• Preparing construction staking materials, including point files
• While a Professional Surveyor license in Ohio is not required, MSG supports professional growth and will assist qualified candidates in obtaining their license.

• Knowledge of Trimble Robotic Total Stations and GNSS data collection
• Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
• Willingness to travel based on client needs
