MSG is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer ready to take ownership of bridge and highway structure projects from concept through final design. Passion for structural engineering, mentoring, and tangible impact on transportation infrastructure offered.
Key Responsibilities- Design and analysis of highway structures and bridges, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Field inspections of transportation structures and bridges to assess condition and provide technical recommendations.
- Preparation of engineering deliverables
, including reports, plans, specifications, estimates (PS&E), and calculations. - Lead projects or disciplines as project engineer or lead for bridge projects, mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
- Collaboration with survey, geotechnical, and transportation staff to deliver integrated solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or greater in Civil, Structural Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in structural engineering with emphasis on bridge work.
- PE licensure required.
- Experience with bridge design and analysis; ODOT experience a plus.
- Experience using STAAD-Pro, MDX, Leap Designer, Midas Civil a plus.
- Knowledge of Bridge and Culvert Manual, AASHTO, AISC, ACI, IBC, ASCE 7 specifications.
