Fast‑paced manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer to work in the assembly department. In this role you will report to an Engineering Lead and be responsible for the following tasks:

• Support continuous improvement and troubleshooting in an assigned plant area.
• Identify and drive cost‑saving projects based on scrap and efficiency metrics.
• Provide technical assistance with equipment issues and perform hands‑on mechanical troubleshooting (pneumatics, actuators, cameras, vision systems, motors, gears, conveyors).
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting with sensors and robotics.
• Collaborate with industrial, product, launch, and quality engineering teams.
• Update FMEAs, work instructions, and utilize 2D/3D modeling for tooling, fixtures, and jigs.
• Oversee 3–4 engineering projects simultaneously.
• Other duties as directed by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (mechanical preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar process engineering role in manufacturing.
• Experience with continuous improvement (efficiency and scrap reduction).
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• 2D and/or 3D modeling proficiency.
• Formal problem‑solving tools (5
  
  WHY, fishbone, 8D, etc.).
• Microsoft Office competency.

• Automotive supplier work experience.
• Automated manufacturing experience, including robotics and PLCs.
• Assembly experience.
• Project management, including timeline oversight.
• PLC troubleshooting.
