Position: Senior Network Engineer- Must have Cisco Firepower- Perm Role/On-site/No Co
Senior Network Engineer- MUST BE LOCAL for ON-SITE DAILY.  
** Must have experience with Next Gen Firewalls and Cisco Firepower

Key Responsibilities Network Architecture & Engineering Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to enhance network performance, scalability, and reliability

Design and deploy wired and wireless network infrastructure solutions for both public and private environments, including fiber-based backhaul network

Analyze, plan, implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve complex enterprise network system

Support traffic engineering, network security, mobile data offloading, and backhaul optimization initiative

Strategic Planning & Infrastructure Management Maintain network technology roadmaps and participate in long-term infrastructure planning

Manage RFQs, vendor evaluations, proof-of-concept testing, and benchmarking initiative

Oversee structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and third-party vendor relationship

Security & Compliance Develop and maintain secure network architectures and policies for trusted and guest wireless access

Implement and enhance network security controls in accordance with industry best practice

Ensure compliance with applicable privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA and Massachusetts data privacy requirement

Protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other confidential business dat Monitoring & Operations Monitor network and security management systems and respond to incidents, alerts, and service disruption

Maintain asset inventories, network diagrams, documentation, and operational procedure

Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support across enterprise networking environment

Project Leadership Execute projects based on defined objectives, timelines, and business prioritie

Independently solve complex technical challenges requiring analysis of multiple operational and engineering factor

Participate in special projects and additional assignments as require

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field preferr
10+ years of enterprise network engineering experien5+ years of experience designing and deploying large-scale wireless infrastructures

Demonstrated expertise in wireless LAN architecture, RF design, and site surve

CertsCCNP or equivalent certification prefCCIE or equivalent certification pref
