Position Overview:
As the Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting training sessions, and monitoring environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions on work site safety practices, fire prevention, and hazardous material handling.
  • Inspect facilities to detect existing or potential safety hazards and implement corrective measures.
  • Lead investigations of accidents and injuries, and compile accident reports as required by regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain safety files and records, and ensure all necessary permits for environmental and regulatory compliance are obtained.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field preferred.
  • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, and receiving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
