Environmental Service Associates are dedicated to cleaning and maintaining defined areas of the organization. They provide customer service by cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, public areas, and service areas, supporting departmental and organization processes. Cleaning and maintaining duties are defined by specific job/task assignments.
Responsibilities and Duties- 40% Obtain assigned cleaning or maintenance request from automated system, daily assignment sheet, or verbal direction. Perform related functions such as moving beds or furniture, and follow departmental processes and paperwork.
- 20% Follow direction and proper usage of all equipment, including cleanliness. Notify the appropriate area through a work order and paperwork.
- 10% Keep all assigned carts and areas stocked at appropriate levels, including linen distribution.
- 10% Complete other duties as assigned, such as storeroom maintenance, to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
- 20% Use a high level of customer service throughout the organization toward patients and all customers.
No Degree or Diploma (Required)
