MEP Project Manager

Overview

MEP Project Manager will lead mechanical and/or electrical teams for large‑scale projects, overseeing all phases from pre‑construction through completion. The role is responsible for safety, quality, client relations, project budget, schedule, vendor management, and submittals.

• Plan, direct, and coordinate construction activities for mechanical and electrical industrial projects.
• Lead project teams, including Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen, ensuring effective direction, coordination, and evaluation.
• Establish and maintain liaison with prime clients to facilitate construction activities.
• Develop project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy boundaries.
• Prepare project reports for management, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress through administrative direction of on‑site Superintendent to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Represent the company in owner progress meetings and manage financial aspects of contracts, responsible for project profit or loss.
• Lead daily field coordination meetings, weekly block schedule meetings, and monthly safety kickoff meetings.
• Mentor and assist in career development of team members and perform additional assignments as directed.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or construction management.
• 10+ years of experience in construction, design, finance, and management.
• PE credentialing is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of safety laws, company policies, and industry practices.
• Superior communication, interpersonal, and business‑oriented skills.

• Interview, hire, train, plan, assign, direct work, appraise performance, reward/discipline, and resolve complaints and problems in accordance with corporate policy and applicable laws.
