Maintenance Mechanic

Cleveland-Cliffs, Mansfield Works is currently hiring five (5) Maintenance Mechanics. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for keeping the plant operating and required to perform routine maintenance and reactive maintenance.

• Perform preventive maintenance
• Troubleshooting and installing mechanical equipment
• Installing mechanical equipment
• Other duties as assigned

• Two year technical degree or other related experience
• Ability to read, understand and follow blueprints, schematics, drawings, work instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety information and operating instructions
• Work rotating shift work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment

• Welding certification
