Soldering​/Production Operator III

Job Description

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturing company. We are hiring a Solderer/Assembler for a 3rd shift opportunity.

Shift: 3rd Shift | 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Pay Rate: $19.80/hr ($18.00/hr base pay plus 10% shift differential)

Training Schedule: Candidates must be available to train on 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) for approximately 90-100 days.

Assembler Summary:

• Perform assembly and soldering operations on a variety of products.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Operate production equipment and use precision measuring instruments.
• Complete finishing, packing, and shipping tasks for assembled products.
• Support quality, safety, and production standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Work collaboratively in a team-based setting while supporting cross-training initiatives.

Assembler Responsibilities:

• Perform diversified soldering operations, including torch and iron soldering.
• Assemble a variety of products with multiple components and close tolerances.
• Operate all equipment required to complete assembly processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wire schematics, and technical documentation.
• Use measuring instruments to verify product compliance with quality specifications.
• Apply nameplates, decals, hardware, stamps, touch-up paint, and other finishing components.
• Perform packaging and shipping duties for completed products.
• Conduct potting and encapsulation operations.
• Work effectively in a team environment, including work sharing and problem-solving activities.
• Assist with training and supporting other employees as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements
• Manufacturing and assembly experience preferred
• Soldering experience is a plus
• ESD training and J-STD-001 solder certification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire schematics
• Experience using measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment
