DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Nurse (RN) to provide life‑saving care at our Mid Ohio Dialysis in Ontario, Ohio. Paid training is provided. You can make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end‑stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

• At least 1 full year of clinical experience as a licensed RN after externships.
• Schedule:
  
  Currently M/W/F 4:00 am – 9:00 pm, soon to be Mon‑Sat.
• Location has 24 chairs and currently 6 dialysis technicians.
• Shift differential for travel, paid mileage.
• Compensation increases as you complete training levels and take on more responsibility.
• Works well in a team, demonstrates leadership, time management, and effective communication; critical thinker.

• 30%:
  Supervise and perform direct patient care—including vital signs, initiation/termination of dialysis, documentation, physical assessment, and transcription of orders.
• 20%:
  Provide dialysis therapy, formulate dialysis plan per physician orders, manage ultrafiltration, ensure safety, administer medications, and properly document activity.
• 20%:
  Analyze assessments and lab data; raise concerns to physicians; document observations; report emergencies to supervisors and medical directors.
• 15%:
  Assess patient and family learning readiness; provide education on renal disease, dialysis treatment, and medication; participate in plan of care development and monthly progress notes.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing (BSN or 3‑year diploma may be substituted).
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med‑Surg is helpful but not required.
• Certifications:
  
  Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) are preferred.
• Employment contingent upon passing a drug screen and background check.
