The LPN will render nursing care services to facility residents as directed by licensed physician, dentist, podiatrist, or R.N. in adherence to the Nurse Practice Act and in accordance with the facility's objectives and policies.
- Administers medications, treatments, tube feedings.
- Assesses residents' medical status and initiates appropriate nursing interventions to meet the resident's needs.
- Consults with registered nurse for her expertise, when indicated.
- Communicates with consulting medical personnel when delegated by the supervisor.

- Current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing Pharmacology
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift 50#, bend, stoop, position and transfer
- Valid Ohio Driver's License and be insurable
- Undergo physical examination, drug test, TB test, and criminal background check including fingerprints
- First Aid and CPR (must maintain as a condition of employment)
- Maintain 24 hours of CNE every two years and present proof of license renewal
