Job DescriptionAs an Host/Server Assistant at Applebee's, you will greet guests at the door with a warm welcome and a smile, assist servers in providing exceptional guest service, and maintain the overall guest flow of the restaurant. You will work hard while enjoying a fun and flexible work environment.
Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly at the entrance and manage guest seating.
- Assist servers by moving food, clearing tables, and replenishing service areas.
- Maintain overall guest flow throughout the dining area.
- Follow standard operating procedures for food safety and sanitation.
- At least 18 years old.
- Effective communication skills with guests and staff.
- Commitment to delivering high‑impact guest service.
- Remain stationary or move on a well‑paced schedule for up to four hours.
- Safely reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
- Speak clearly and listen attentively to employees and dining room staff.
- Transport plates, glasses, and baskets around the dining room, service bar, and kitchen.
- Wear protective hand coverings, face coverings or masks, and handle disinfectant cleaning supplies for the entire shift.
- Frequent hand washing with disinfecting soap throughout the shift.
