Sales Development Representative (SDR)
We're growing our sales team and hiring a driven, personable Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help expand ez Justice's reach nationwide.
You’ll play a key role in identifying opportunities, introducing prospects to ez Justice, and building connections with court leaders, clerks, probation departments, and other key stakeholders across the justice system.
Travel Required:
Yes (approx. 30% for conferences, onsite demos, and customer relationship building)

Key ResponsibilitiesExecute outbound email and Linked In campaigns targeting relevant departments
Engage prospects through DMs, comments, content sharing, and personalized outreach
Send and track direct mail campaigns to targeted government agencies
Build and maintain lead lists and workflows in Hub Spot
Referral & Relationship BuildingWork with existing ez Justice customers to uncover referral opportunities across departments and neighboring jurisdictions
Maintain a consistent, professional follow-up cadence to convert referrals into active leads
Conference Engagement & NetworkingAttend industry conferences and trade shows across the country
Actively work the floor—don’t just wait at the booth
Build relationships through conversations, sessions, after-hours events, dinners, and customer appreciation activities
Help identify new conference opportunities and potential partner relationships with aligned vendors
Qualify leads and conduct initial discovery conversations
Give high-level product overviews when needed
Hand off warm leads to the senior sales team for full demonstrations
Manage follow-ups post-demo to advance deals or provide additional information
Maintain accurate records in Hub Spot, including lead status, activity logs, and next steps
Complete tasks and follow-up reminders to ensure leads stay warm
Report weekly metrics (emails sent, conversations, demos booked, etc.)
Work closely with marketing on messaging alignment and outbound strategy
Provide real-time feedback on outreach performance, objections, and prospect needs
Stay up to date on product updates and customer success stories
Preferred Qualifications1–3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or outreach role (preferably in SaaS, govtech, or public sector)
Proficiency in Linked In and CRM systems (Hub Spot experience is a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships online and in person
Willingness to travel regularly for conferences and in-person events
