• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous/professional manner.
• Answer telephone promptly and direct calls accordingly.
• Maintain all correspondence from all mailboxes and distribute accordingly.
• Verify patient insurance.
• Prioritize the center’s business needs and assist other areas as needed.
• Responsible for scheduling appointments, checking‑in/out patients, and obtaining accurate patient information.
• Notify appropriate personnel of visitor arrival and direct visitor to correct area.
• Perform clerical functions.
• Maintain/update directory of all employees in the center.
• Notify the transportation dispatcher when patients are ready for pick up.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times.
• Ensure waiting and reception areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Computer skills: 1 year (Required)
• Medical receptionist: 1 year (Required)
• Customer service: 2 years (Required)
• Insurance Verification (Required)

• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
• Ability to use computers to enter information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail

• High School Diploma required
• Bilingual (Spanish) Required

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• May require prolonged period of standing, walking and bending
• Ability to move/lift up to 20 pounds at times

Job Type: Full‑time

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
