Ultrasound Technologist - Part-time

Envision Imaging is adding an Ultrasound Technologist to the Mansfield, TX team!

Every other Saturday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Position pay range: $39.70 - $51.15

Performs ultrasound procedures to adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Assists radiologists during specialized exams to obtain images at a satisfactory level with minimal supervision.

This position has no supervision responsibilities.

This job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment. Often requires work in cool, dimly lighted rooms.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is frequently required to talk and hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

No travel is expected for this position.

• Two plus years’ experience in Ultrasound – preferred
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
• Ability to continuously exceed company and customer expectation
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program
• Current ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or ARRT (VS) registry – preferred
• Current ARDMS Registered Obstetrician/Gynecology Technologist (OB/GYN) or ARRT (S) registry - preferred
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
