Quality Auditor – Night Shift at Mauser Packaging Solutions.

Job Description
:
Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products in the production area. This position will be responsible for the inspection of materials, parts, and products at various stages of production. It will also communicate/trains the quality systems to other employees as needed, record observations, and may make recommendations for improving processes. Night shift, rotating 12‑hour shifts.

• Follows all Safety and Quality procedures and observes the operations to ensure a safe environment.
• Responsible for ensuring the compliance of “Food Product Safety” & “Product Quality” of the product, to meet the expectation of our customers.
• Knows common practices associated with the proper handling of food grade products per GMP requirements.
• Performs daily quality control inspections, checks, functional tests, documents and disseminates results.
• Conducts UN performance testing, completing appropriate documentation and maintain records to satisfy contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Reviews production schedule and creates batch documentation and labels.
• Follows procedures for containments and defective material, placing material on hold and documenting (Hold for Inspection).
• Completes “First Good Article” approval in a timely manner.
• Verifies “Line Clearance” activities.
• Escalates issues to appropriate personnel.
• Works closely with front‑line operators and production supervisors to advise when adjustments are needed.
• Interacts with production personnel to ensure quality checks, packaging, documentation requirements and the quality system are clearly understood.
• Writes, trains, and follows procedures.
• Maintains the work area in an organized and professional manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2 years of related trade school training; or equivalent education and experience in a similar environment.
• Use and understanding of precision measuring instruments and gauges, specifications, charts and diagrams.
• Ability to accurately read measuring devices, blueprints, product specifications and test procedures.
• Good hand/eye coordination and motor skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Computer skills are required; familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
